You could keep in touch with the www.siggraph.org org. There are many
professional chapters of ACM SIGGRAPH organization that hold meetings and
local chapters. Its hard to know what each local chapter has for agenda. I
am CCing this to SIGGRAPH org people also so they can better guide you.

Is there a "users group/info group" so that I can keep up with the direction
of siggraph as well as finding out about the next seminar? Missed this
years due to RE/Scanning research being done. Seems like it would have been
great to catch it.
