Date: Tue Aug 10 1999 - 05:32:04 EEST

The Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC) of the Society of Plastics Engineers
(SPE) will be held in Orlando Florida May 7-11 2000. The Product Design and
Development Division of SPE is hosting a session on New Applications in
Rapid Prototyping. SPE has particuliar interest in presentations from OEMs
who are using RP technology to develop new applications and "stretching the
envelope" of RP and plastics.

A 100 word abstract should be submitted by August 17. For more information
and "how to" tips please visit the website for ANTEC 2000, where you will
find a Intent to Present form and other information on submitting an
abstract. Note that unlike other conferences, the final acceptance of the
paper will determined after submission of the completed paper, not just the
abstract.

On the form, designate that the paper should be in the Product Design and
Development Division.

Of special interest, due to the limited amount of space in Orlando, the SPE
committees will be accepting a more limited number of papers than in years
past. Commercial content papers will not be accepted, and student authors
are encouraged to apply for Poster Presentations.
