Matt, In Outlook 98 you can set up a rule that will move incoming messages
from owner-rp-ml@bart.lpt.fi to a selected folder.

  Dear List,

As recent years have passed the volume of email landing on my desk has
increased dramatically and managing it is becoming a problem. Outlook's
Inbox Assistant helps in some situations, but you need to be able to specify
terms appearing in the To: line, the CC: line, the From: line or the
Subject: line before it can divert the mail to a folder.

As far as I know there is no way of characterising a mail from the rpml -
is this correct?

Even though I am moaning about the volume of mail I have to manage, I have
recently joined another list. It is a discussion group about the football
team I support - Arsenal.

Here, the list management software automatically adds "[arsenal]" to the
start of the subject line - thereby making it easy to divert into another
folder.

Would a similar system be possible here? I have no idea on this sort of
thing.

The only details I have been able to find out are that the list management
software is called the "ezmlm program", and the particular group I have
joined was originally set up at MIT.

Any advice on how I can better manage my life?

  Matt
