I've some parts done at a local foundry, unfortuntely now out of the
business, where I was able to get investment cast parts over a weekend.
They would put the model, with gates and vents, in a coffee can full of
slurry and let it cure in one piece. I can't tell you how they cured it,
but I was able to get acceptable parts in 3 days.
