Alair,

    You may be able to reduce the incidence of hits to an obsolete site by
including the line:

            <meta name="robots" content="noindex">

in the header of the HTML files of the site. The header is the part at the
beginning, between "<head>" and "</head>." This line tells the Web crawling
robots used by search engines not to include this file in their indices, so
people won't find these pages when they do searches. Just make sure that
your up-to-date site is visible to the engines, so you don't end up losing
business by hiding the old pages from the search engines.

All the best,
Marshall
