Triangulation or or more accurately called tessellation mathimatical
representation was first set forth in 1937 by a Russian named Dulaney.
During the 40s and 50s considerable thought was put to this subject, and
several books were published, but the wave has passed.
Some good works are presented in the IGES standards set forth in 1981 before
RP began.
Likewise it too shall pass from being of great concern in the RP field soon
because of further advancements waiting in the wings.
