I agree with Karl. Those who wish to jump on rumors as fact can
corrupt a positive perception and possibly an otherwise good business
climate. If rumors prove factual then we should collectively discuss
cause and effect so we can profit from their loss.

For those SBs who are concerned (as we all should be) re-evaulate how
you value your product and what you do. Let's turn around this
business from a best price commodity to a value add service.

Sell up, not down! We all have huge investments. LET"S MAKE MONEY!

The machine makers need to take a lesson from this chapter. Stop
selling us SBs short on price. Sell us on time-to-market, time
compression, pushing the evelop with better designs, improved product
development process, etc. .... PLEASE NOT CHEAP!

     My opinion...
32 years and planning for more!

Hello all...

This is in response to Brock Hinzmanns response on the topic...

1st, I believe that the restructuring actually began several months ago
when several key (founding) members of the company were let go!

2nd, Brock I don't see a decline in the business or industry either via
SB or OEM wise. We went through the gloom and doom predictions earlier
this year and it seems to me that when we hear about an SB that closes it
starts all over again. Why don't we hear the opposite when a new SB opens
or when one of the lesser knowns purchase a 2nd or 3rd or 4th technology?.
We do not know what the business operations were like Plynetics Express,
could it be that they just expanded to quickly?, could it be that they
were just not that could at the business side of things?, isn't possible
that we could muster up a whole set of new question regarding this topic
without once saying "the industry is in trouble"?
