Hi Eduardo,

If you already have the solid created, try increasing the FACETRES variable
to 10. If triangulation is still not small enough, scale the part up for
stl exporting purposes. That will give you better resolution. (Don't forget
to let the service provider know that the part is scaled up).
We usually have to work with tools we have, therefore we ask for solution to
our problem and not what other software to purchase. In case the solution
doesn't work, you may look at Mechanical Desktop (an extension of AutoCAD)
which would give you capabilities to use parametric solid modeling including
lofting and surface modeling.

Good luck.

Subject: Autocad 14 and solids help needed

Is there someone in the list who could help me about creating solids with
AutoCAD 14?
My problem is to create wings and propellers, with changing airfoils, chords
and angles spanwise. I was able to create the wireframes W/O problems, and
even to create the solids by extruding many airfoils sections, but the
created solid is not smooth enough for prototyping purposes.
Advanced thanks
