That site is Jodi Mazumder's at U of Michigan. He's been developing an
in-beam laser deposition system for some time. This is similar technology to the
LENS technique at Sandia and other projects at Los Alamos and Fraunhofer. He
started the work in Chicago and then moved his lab to UofM. I've been there to
visit and his results are quite impressive.
