SIBCO, INC of Ferndale, Michigan is proud to release it’s latest product , the LOMPOXY for all Rapid Prototyping Technology Users.

The LOMPOXY is a 100% solids, low viscosity, low heat curing single component epoxy resin. LOMPOXY has been formulated for full impregnation into materials with extremely small pores that require a very low cure temperatures. Whether it is a Z402 part, a nylon/glass based SLS part, or even an LOM part, the LOMPOXY can penetrate throughout the whole part improving it’s mechanical stability under high temperatures(350 deg. F), moisture resistance, and chemical resistance.

The finished part, whether it is an SLS part, an LOM part, a Z402 part, or even an FDM part, will have the strength to what is equivalent to a monolithic epoxy part.

Under BETA testing, some users were able to build tools and using the LOMPOXY in the VIPLOM process, to injection mold at temperatures of 350 to 400 deg. F at 1000 PSI.

Blow Molding was successfully accomplished when tooling was impregnated with the LOMPOXY using the VIPLOM process.
