I am one of the organisers of the European Conference on Rapid
Prototyping and Manufacturing which has been running for seven years
now. I may be a little biased, but our aim is precisely to have a
conference where a lot of cutting-edge research is presented and that
has some practical applications as well. On this score, it should be
