My colleague (Dr. Richard Hague) and myself developed the QuickCast
stucture that is now QuickCast 2.0. At this years North American 3D
Systems Stereolithography User Group I made a presentation on why the
old QuickCast structure sometimes cracked the shells. This was followed
by an explanation of how the new QuickCast structure works and data was
presented to show that it is almost impossible to crack the shells with
the new structure.
I would be happy to let people have a copy of a paper which describes
this.
