Here at Becton Dickinson I use a FERRUPS by Best Power Technology, Model #FE 4.3KVA. We purchased ours locally from Data Power and Air, Inc. They are located in Hillsborough, NC and their number is (919) 732-8667, or you can call Best Power directly at their Wisconsin location at (608) 565-7200. We have been using this model for several years (4+) and have had no problem with our laser. It has saved builds for us on multiple occasions. We made the switch because we were having laser problems way back when the 40mW laser first came on the scene and we were using another type of UPS. This model did the trick.
