What sort of support are you looking for in terms of trends. You can go
to just about any of the professional magazines and in the period of the
last year find and article about rapid prototyping including ones that
talk directly about injection molding using stl and other processes to
produce the mold.
Black and Decker is one of the principle companies in doing this. Just
about all their products are first fabricated using rapid prototyping
technologies.
