Contact Coherent and attend their class on retubing and replace the tube
your self. You can generally get the tubes for a fraction of what 3D
wants.

Subject: SLA-500 Laser Rebuilding
My 500 laser is nearing the end. Has anyone tried the rebuilt lasers
from Laser Innovations? They are half the price of 3D Systems lasers. 3D
is saying that they are recharged and not retubed and they are not
stable. What is the best way to go for a new laser? Is there any other
cost effective way of replacing the Coherent laser?
