The non-paper material I believe is polyethelene. I have used one roll.
It builds OK, the decubing is moderately difficult but is easier if one
puts the part block in the fridge for an hour or so. The final part is
somewhat flexible. Dimensional accuracy seems to be as good as the
paper (we only built one part -- it's hard to tell), but there is no
change over time (unlike poorly sealed paper models). You have heat the
build chamber in order to build with this stuff -- Helisys sells an
attachment to accomplish this.

I have not used the composite, but would also be interested in user
results.
