In the case of UG the .stl conversion add on is very expensive. (last I
heard well over $4K) If they do not have the .stl converter, We use a
parasolid output rather then dealing with the .IGS. We tell the
customer to export to parasolid then we pull it into Solid Works. (it
also uses the parasolid kernal) Solid Works always pulls in the files
and makes great .stl files.
