desktop foundry

Hi

        I'm looking to start a rapid tooling company in London, Ontario
and I'm curious about investment casting. Is there a desktop foundry method
out there or do I need to use a traditional foundry to do that work. I read
something about "LIPCAST" from Laser Integrated Prototyping. This would
be part of an overall rapid tooling strategy including high speed CNC etc.
