contour reconstruction using NUAGES

Hello lists,
I am currently using Bernhard Geiger's NUAGES package to
reconstruct 2-D parallel contours into an STL file. However, it seems
that NUAGES makes very nice surface models, not solid models. That is,
some of my edges have more than 2 neighboring faces! If there is anyone
out there using this package, please let me know if there is a work-around
for this behavior. I'm using NUAGES because it's free and very easy to
use (just a system call from my own program's code), and this would be a
requirement for any package I might later replace it with. And writing my
own triangulation code seems, well, daunting...

thanks,
Justin
