The big Pi debate

Obvious someone is trying to RP a circle and is quite content with the value
of 3.

the error of .14159???? is of no consequence, using 3 give a quicker return
on all their calculations.
( I think Bill Gates software developers use it all the time )

The fact that the STL file format is only a approximate representation of
the true geometry does not seem to bother customers using RP Bureaux or the
RP technology.

The next generation of RP & M applications may want to work on the true
mathematical geometry and accept data in the raw mathematical description
variations that all CAD packages use.

Each RP & M machine would then specify that their process is accurate to 4 ,
6, or 14 decimal places.
and a sticker on the side of the machine would also specify what value of PI
is used in the software as well what this weeks go faster chip is on the
inside.

Still only one more day till the weekend.

Now if someone said that the length of the weekend will now be 3 days long,
I'll vote for him.
