Try laser machining or waterjet cutting. WE tried cutting closed cell foam
by freezing w/liquid Nitro. What a hassle. We ended up using the laser and
they were putting 1.5mm holes on a 12mm thick part and cutting a profile
shape. This was with my previous employer.

        Hi Mail_list,
We need to machine silicon-rubber (RTV rubber) for some
applications.
The need is to make a drilled hole or rectangular hole.

        Any one having such experience?

        Regards.
