Can anyone share experiences and/or visions on rapid tooling and/or
metal prototyping with me ?

I have been reading the rp-ml list and conference proceedings
but I can find only little information on accuracy, surface quality
and lead times and necesarry amount of finisching from the
practical side.

Is there benchmarking information in which for instance
Keltool, DMLS (EOS), Rapid Tool (DTM), Cast tools by
investment casting or any other tooling techniques are
compared?
