Hi Stavros

My personal suggestion is/are Solid Edge or Solid Works. Between this two
Solid Edge have
a better sheet metal capabilities a better design environment a better
drafting, but Solid Works
is better in general modeling. Mostly because of his Parasolid kernel. This
is true for the actual
version of both products SE4.0 and SW97+. If you are not in a hurry wait
for a 15 more
days. Both vendor are near to lunch their next release (mid March). There
are tremendous
changes in both packages. Solid Edge will change his kernel to Parasolid
instead of ACIS.

Subject: Sheetmetal s/w info needed

Dear list,
I am looking for information on software used for sheetmetal procedures.
Especially, info needed on the handling, nesting/stacking of the
laminations.
The software must be PC based.
Thank you in advance
