I am grduate student who love the RE and RP .
Please give an idea regarding to non-contact scanner (lijke as laser scaner).
In generally, CMM can scan the only edge of feature so it is very convient to contruct the edge curves from the point clouds. but the laser scanner scan all surfaces of object , it is diffcult to extract feature curves .
How to extract feature curves accurately , easily and automatically??
