Dear Emil,

Soligen's DSP does not do laser sintering, but works by a
"drop-on-powder" process. Instead of the powder in the machine being
bonded by sintering, it is bonded by a fluid (called a "binder") that is
deposited by an ink-jet-like mechanism. The same concept is also used in
fabricators developed by Z Corp., Therix, Extrude Hone, and Specific
Surface.
