Wouldn't it be interesting if someone developed an RP/CNC machine based on
the HEXAPOD technology?
I bet you could get two heads inside one of those puppies, one for a
deposition head and another with a cutting tool.
I think there are a number of geometries out there that would benefit from
being able to mill just a couple of layers at time to improve outer surface
finish. It would be an interesting machine, if nothing else. You gotta love
that hexapod design.
