Here in Finland a company called Sievi uses laser scanning and NC-milling
in their shoe design. The company makes all kinds of professional and
safety shoes.

The laser scanning system was developped by Ylivieska Institute of
Technology and Social Science (Central Ostrobotnia Polytechnic)
