Sorry about the lack of information in the last email.
It was supposed to read:

I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at UMIST (UK) 3rd year.
I am doing some research into rapid prototyping, and was wondering if
anyone could tell me whether or not the following processes still
exist. If so the approximate set up costs of each process would be
very usefull, as the information that I allready have is about 4 years
out of date!

3D Printing
Photochemical Machining
Optical Fabrication
Solid Base Curing
Masking and Deposition Technology
Shape Melting
