The output from the CT or MRI scan data - is it available in point cloud
format ( ie strips in x or y ) in a standard ASCII format?
If it is there is a simple utility called Surface Master that takes point
cloud information, manipulates it, filters it, renders it for visualisation
purposes and outputs it as stl files, IGES Surface entity, VDA point, VDA
surface ........
Oh! its also pretty cheap and a demo version is available - you cant save
your output but you can play.
