Incorporated in Illinois in 1985 as Hydronetics, Inc.; it had early
research and development funding from the State of Illinois, from NIST and
from NSF as well as some great non-cash cooperation from a major company.
When it moved to California in 1990 or so it changed its name and state of
incorporation before its first commercial sales of RP systems in the early
1990's, but it didn't change its logo or technology or key players ... you
know it today as Helisys, Inc.
