Autofact speakers needed!

I have been asked to chair the "Software for Rapid Prototyping" session at
Autofact
this year. This time the session will be during "regular" hours (Thursday,
Nov. 6
from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM)

Possible topics include:
1. Techniques for getting good STL data from CAD systems (as indicated by some
recent postings to this list, this still isn't as easy as it should be!)
2. Case studies involving commercial or proprietary RP software, particularly
if it involves methods for automating or streamlining the creation and
transportation CAD data for rapid prototyping.
3. Other applications for STL data, such as STL to CAM

While we will probably still continue to debate the size and potential of
the RP
market if it was as easy to create a good STL file as it is to create a good
Postscript file (something we do all the time without even thinking about it),
I hope we could all agree that achieving that goal would help expand the use of
rapid prototyping.

If you would like to present, or if you have any ideas for case studies, please
send a email to me at tom@solidconcepts.com, or call me at 805-257-9300.
Thanks.
