Hello Mr Leonel,

STL files are de facto standard for RP. STL files have facetted modeling
solid model. The solid model consists of facets. These STL files are
further sliced for downloading to the rp m/c. Facetted models are more
suitable for slicing rather than other CAD models, hence the STL and not other
CAD models.
