I am collecting information about secondary tooling for my final year
project. I am sure there is a lot of people who work with things like
this topic. So, if it is any way possible to send some info,
comments, experiences etc. to me I'd appreciate it a lot.
Main titles of my project and methods I already have found are:
1. Injection moulded parts
*silicon rubber molds (RTV)
*molds created by LOM
2. Vacuum moulded parts
*Vacuum moulding with LOM mould
3. Investment casted parts
*Creating casting waxes by RTV
*Creating casting waxes by LOM moulds
4. Sheet metal parts
*Hydroforming with LOM
All methods outside the list above are welcome (a short discription would
be nice). Experiences of all methods (those above and rest) are also
valuable.
