I have only briefly seen an Actua machine while visiting 3D's assembly
plant in Colorado (USA). The machine is an off-white rectangle,
approximately 6x3x4.5 feet (2m x 1m x 1.5m). The part I saw was of a
rounded sports car about 10inches (30cm) long. Overall the quality looked
good and had the look of a block of soup or wax carved with a reasonably
sharp pocket knife.

I was impressed by their claimed speed and simplicity and the overall cost
(somewhere around $65,000).
