Paramount Industries Announces Acquisition
Of Jade Corp's Rapid Prototyping Operations
LANGHORNE PA, May 29, 1997--Paramount Industries has announced an
agreement to acquire The Jade Corporation's rapid prototyping
operations.
Under terms of the agreement, Jade's rapid prototyping operations,
located in Huntington Valley, PA, will be moved to Paramount's new
Rapid Technologies Center at its plant complex in nearby Langhorne,
PA.
The acquisition is part of a continuing expansion of Paramount's role
in the application of rapid technologies in product development. The
company offers comprehensive services in all aspects of product
development, including industrial design and product engineering,
traditional model and pattern making, reverse engineering, rapid
tooling, limited-run production and high-volume offshore manufacturing
and assembly.
Paramount's prominence in rapid technologies has been nationally and
internationally recognized. Recently the company was selected as the
International Host Site for DTM's most advanced new selective laser
sintering system. Paramount CEO Jim Williams is a frequent lecturer on
developments in rapid prototyping and rapid tooling.
