MRI data

Dear Medical Modellers,

I recall some discussion a while ago about the use of MRI data for producing
bony biomodels and now we have a client who is insisting on using MRI data
for a research project involving our SLA BioModels. Can someone elaborate
and tell me exactly why MRI is not suitable for bone biomodels (apart from
the fact of the low/nil signal from cortical bone), so I can pass this on to
them.

Thanks,
Robert Thompson
