Internet Call For Papers

Time-Compression Technologies 97 Conference will be taking place on the 29th and
30th of September at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire and will
build on the success of TCT 96. Last year's conference attracted nearly 300
delegates from across the world who all had a proven commitment to rapid product
development and reducing their time-to-market.

We are now calling for paper submissions. An abstract of no more than 100 words
on the above subject areas, including title, full contact details and
affiliation should be received no later than March 21st 1997. The conference
language will be English and all submissions will be subject to a stringent
referee process. No promotional papers or submissions from machine vendors will
be considered. All accepted papers will be from an end-user perspective and
should discuss the application of the above technologies and techniques. If
your paper is accepted by the referee committee, you will be supplied with full
author guidelines.

Topics under discussion at TCT 97 will include: Conceptual Design; 3D CAD
Applications and Choice; Knowledge Based Engineering; Data Management; Software
Analysis and Its Role in Time-Compression Engineering; Virtual Reality; Rapid
Prototyping; Fast Milling; Reverse Engineering; Plastic Prototype and Short
Production Run Processes; Rapid Tooling; Management Issues and Implications.

The overall brief of the conference is to present a clear and concise
presentation of the opportunities that exist at every stage in the product
life-cycle for cost reduction and time-compression. Delegates should be able to
clearly see the benefits that time-compression technologies can provide and be
informed of the current developments in concurrent engineering.

The presentation of your work will reach an international audience of industry
professionals, top class engineers and well respected researchers and academics.
As a speaker you will be given every opportunity to meet with key personnel in
your field.
