Research Fellow
Applications are invited for a three year fixed term position, ideally
starting on 1st March 1997, to work on an industrially supported
EPSRC research project investigating the rapid production of mould
tools for the polymer manufacturing industry. The successful
candidate will work both experimentally and analytically to develop
the design and manufacture of metal tooling using the selective
laser sintering rapid prototyping process. Applicants should have a
Ph.D. in a relevant subject area and experience of working with
finite element analysis, and would ideally also have experience of
either rapid prototyping or polymer processing.
