Cubital has been in the process of developing an approach for
producing direct wax investment casting models for some time now. It
does not involve the currently used Solimer Wax. I am not aware that
the approach has been released at this time.

There is however an investment casting approach that has been used,
that Cubital refers to as SoliCast, that has been used for creating
investment castings. I believe Schneider Prototyping in Europe was
involved with Cubital in developing the approach.

I'm sure the folks at Cubital would be glad to give you more of the
details.
