Kaisha Halcli, vice president of AAROFLEX, Inc., gave the following information
to me recently.
AAROFLEX offers the Solid Imager SS and Solid Imager AI stereolithography
systems. Priced at $429,000, the SS uses a solid state laser and builds models
that fit inside a 16-inch cube. The AI version, priced at $465,000, uses an
Argon-ion laser and builds models that fit inside a 22-inch cube. Both systems
accept epoxy and acrylate resins, according to Kaisha, and both systems can
produce layers that range from 0.001 to 0.020 inch in thickness.
