In addition to the advice given already, take a look at web pages from CAE and
CGW magazines. They "might" have a comprehensive listing. I'm not in the
office, so I don't have their URLs with me, but links to them are in
http://lamar.colostate.edu/~wohlers. This page also includes a partial listing
of CAD/CAM vendors and products, as well as the text from a few product reviews.
