Systems SL Toolkit(tm). This software module is a front-end utility for
use with 3D’s workstation software. The module enables users to enhance
the flexibility, functionality, convenience and performance of their
stereolithography capabilities, including preparation of .stl files of
tooling generated from part files.
3D Systems also released an announcement that it has entered into a
definitive agreement to acquire the Keltool technology from Keltool,
Inc., of St. Paul, MN, which produces sintered steel tooling for plastic
injection molding machines based on a patented process and involving 3D
Systems’ rapid prototyping systems.
