Preliminary programme
=====================

1. Computer based tools - calculation & simulation tools
   (CAE, FEM, VR, ..................................)

2. Design & concept modelling. New RPT techniques which must be used in the
    early development stages.

3. Prototypes in plastic.
   - PUR-objects (silicone/rubber tools)

   Directly from the RP-machine
   - ABS-objects - the FDM process
   - Nylon-objects - the SLS process
   - Epoxy objects - the SLA process

4. Prototypes in metal:
   - precision casting
(investment casting) - steel, aluminium, titanium
   - plaster moulding - aluminium, zinc, magnesium
   - spin casting - zinc

5. Sand casting by means of RPT models and moulds
   - Aluminium
   - Steel
   - manufacturing of sand moulds and cores directly from the RPT machine

6. Rapid Tooling - State of the Art

7. Rapid Tooling
Injection moulding tools produced by means of the RP machines:
   - SLA-tools
   - Sintered tools
   - Indirect techniques
   - Metal sprayed tools
   - Casted tools

8. Concurrent Engineering
   - Rapid Prototyping and tooling advance the process

9. Reverse Engineering
