Cyberware (Monterrey, CA) has a product called the Whole Body Scanner, which
is designed to digitize a human body, from head to toe, in less than 30
seconds. Our customers have imported this data directly into our Surfacer
product, and created complete NURBS surface models for a variety of
applications. Unfortunately, a lot the data that I am aware of is
proprietary in nature, however, we do have a few, fully surfaced data sets
that we might be able to share with you.

Perhaps the more interesting thing is the commercial availability of
products to quickly create "virtual" representations of very complex
free-form shapes, like the human body. So, you can now select the
individuals you want to use for your ergonomic study, digitize each one, and
have them in you computer the next day!
