Two things that you may be trying to do here. One is a heightfield and the
other is tracing. In heightfield, you covert the picture values to a
height. I
believe photoshop will do this. In tracing you follow color boundry
countours
and trace the outlines. Both coreldraw and Hijaak do this. Hope this
