Subject: Protective Gloves
I'm looking to buy some new protective gloves for our SLA lab, and I was
wondering what other people are using. My biggest problem hasn't been
the resin, but the TPM solvent. It's really harsh on my hands, and has been
eating through just about everything I've tried. (Right now, I'm using a
heavy RubberMaid Kitchen glove I found in a local hardware store. It's good for
about two hours of contact.)

I called Lab Safety Supply, but they don't have any information about TPM.
Since it's a solvent, they suggested their SilverShield gloves, which are
used by emergency response teams to clean up hazardous chemical spills. As you
can imagine, they're not designed to handle small, delicate parts.

Please, everyone, take a moment to e-mail me descriptions of the gloves
you use, (material, thickness, disposable/non-disposable, etc) and I'll post
a summary to the list. (Or, if this has already been done, please point me
in the right direction.)

Thanks.
Doug.
