With respect to holding a vacuum, this might depend on how high a vacuum is 
required.  Certainly one should consider using a high strength resin.  But 
in addition to strength limitations, residual monomer in the resin may work 
against holding a vacuum.  Possibly a LOM or polycarbonate SLS part might be 
more suitable.
