                     ** RP&M '95 Sets Attendance Record ** 
For your information, 1,589 people attended and participated in the Rapid
Prototyping & Manufacturing '95 Conference and Exposition, held May 2-4 in
Dearborn, Michigan.  The event was sponsored by the Rapid Prototyping
Association (RPA) of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).  According
to conference manager Lori Hastie of SME, a total of 931 people attended last
year and 497 the year before. 

Lori explained that 461 people paid to attend this year's conference, while an
additional 640 paid to attend the exposition.  Sixty-one speakers and 427
exhibiting staff made up the remaining 488 attendees.  Members of RPA/SME and
the SME staff were very pleased with the turn out.  This event keeps getting
bigger and bigger and ...
