I just learned that Stratasys has released a new machine, the FDM
1600. I'm uncertain just how it differs from the FDM 1500, but I'm
told it was designed primarily to allow use of ABS as a material.

One feature of the equipment is that it uses two extrusion heads --
one for the part, and the other for the supports. This allows for
easy support removal of an otherwise tough material.

Also, Stratasys has just gone public with a stock offering of 1
     million shares at $5 per.
