Why bother about a new news-group?  This seems to be working 
fine, and if anyone wants to write their latest findings in a 
message to this group of people, that should be fine.  The 
addition of another newsgroup might make things complicated.

I suggest we use this only mailing list as the mode of 
dissemination of information that we think is relevant.
